i received Mail Art from MomKat

usually MomKat sends postcards, but this time it's a fold-out card...

the inside features a friendly black cat at the acropolis, surrounded by friendly ghosts.

this was sent for Halloween, and it definitely lifted my spirits ];-)

    So glad you got the friendly ghosts, Zack,...eventually. Hellenic Post just closed my local post office, so now I will have to put mail out in the postbox at the central postoffice in Athens...whenever i am downtown, wow! Luckily, i can still send mail art in envelopes to the European countries (like France :-) for "only" 2 euro, but 'tis true, I will be doing more postcards overseas as "worldwide" postage for "naked" postcards is also "only" 2 euro! Ah, how times have changed!

    we must keep postal services alive! whenever i see a postal worker i make sure to thank them for their work (they usually either thank me back or, more frequently, look at me as though there's something wrong with me ha ha ha....

    your mail does get here quickly (i think); the lag is not due to the post but rather to the black hole i call my "inbox"... currently, i'm about a month behind with my posts; c'est la vie!
