What kind of a forgery is this supposed to be?Reminds me of that study by Bruner & Postman (sic) in 1949 where they briefly flashed incongruous playing cards, such as black hearts or red spades. That really messed up the test subjects' colour perception.

    the perception of incongruity. Unfortunately, that's how almost everything works.
