I agree, Jennifer! I much prefer small booklets, smaller than 50 grams or two U.S. ounces. Also, the envelope size matters since I make custom envelopes using letter-sized (or A2) sheets.

The U.S. postal rates aren't as bad as the ones I've heard of in other countries but we get a rate increase every six months, in January and in June, and overseas mail has gotten very expensive.

Fleur - You're not the only one now looking at the weight when it comes to mail costs now! Over 100 grams - and with A&P additions, you have to think ahead - our UK mail charges now seem completely crazy, and I look twice, wondering about what people thought it was worth spending that much on. I never expected to make or add to A&P book(lets) with the scales on my worktable! When our mail prices started to jump up (which they now do at least once a year), I dropped right out of any one-to-one mail art. I came back to doing A&P mail art, but I know I'll now never do very much of it and the costs are a big part of that. It's taken the fun out of it?

Hello everyone,

I've received a big fat A&P book that Coco Muchmore started, and have added my contributions.

This book weighs 4.3 ounces / 121 grams. Since it's so heavy, I thought that I should ask if anyone would like it rather than just sending it out.

I'm in the USA, but I would be willing to send it overseas.

To sweeten the deal: there are pockets glued to the front and back inside covers. and these are stuffed with stamps, stickers, and other ephemera. If there's anything that you like or would use in your own art, help yourself!

Thanks in advance!

I will take any A&P books circulating now that need a forwarding address.

Thanks everyone.  And no Jennifer, I’m unfamiliar with Foda cycles in MA.

Has anyone had an A&P from FODA CYCLES in Dartmouth MA? A new name for me.

Comment I just put on the Add&Pass-group site, but perhaps it's better here:

@Kiki... Only today I made my contribution / adding to the nice Add&Pass booklet you sent to me in ... november'24...

BUT NOW: who wants to continue this A&Pbooklet initiated by Fleur, with indeed a contribution by Kiki (and others)?

Hi Debra...that passport has headed on..it should be in Canada! and, I'd be happy to send Terry's book your way *!*

Hello to all.  Pam Chatfield, I sent the A&P book I mentioned in Dec. to Amy Irwen.  Perhaps she still has it?  And Amy, if you work on the book Terri Owenby sends you, I’d enjoy working on that one as well.  I have a thing for these A&P books!
Thanks!   Debra

Terry Owenby, send it my way!

I've been rearranging my studio and have had some piles sitting around for several months. I came across an add and pass book that I worked on in November. There is no "Return to" address in this book. Last year I tried to find the owner by posting on the IUOMA FB page, with no luck. Does anyone want this book, perhaps with better investigation skills than I? So far it has been worked on by Michelangelo Mayo, The Sticker Dude, Neosho Mail, DMC, and Mike Dickau. I'd really like to get it moving again, but just don't know how to get it home.
