Hi Rod! Well things move on so quickly...from mad rabbits to the Dreaded Hamster of Aachen and now on to Duck Packs...that I agree with you that the Hamster can be left in undisturbed hibernation. What's the next Wee Beastie to feature on this site, I wonder?

Regards, Val

Oh, that's really mean Dave, the carnival I can just about miss but new episodes of Montalbano! I am struck wordless with jealousy... not... obviously.... but nearly. For those of you not in the know, Montalbano is a detective of superb style in Sicily, if you can't get to see the TV series (here on Belgian TV in the original Italian with Flemish sub titles) at least read the books by Andrea Camilleri.

But Rod, don't even start thinking about the horrors of Viareggio's Duck Pack, anyway it rained heavily on Sunday so no last parade, the Carnival was doomed without you Dave this year! I think the Mail 2 MAilArtstricht website is a joy for the mind and eye in this boring internetlandia, those who don't get it should be purged from the show (or to bed without pink pudding, at least). I'm about to see in a few minutes the first in a NEW series of 4 Commissario Montalbano episodes, niiiah! niaaah! (that's the Duck Pack evening chant, Dave),

cheers, the other Dave

Ja Val,  I think some things are so scary that they had better remain a secret known only to those strong of the spirit.  Were the world to know the full horror of the Hamster of Aachen, panic and wanhoop might spread rapidly amongst the innocents around the globe and I just cannot take that responsibility upon myself, would you?

Rod -- I think you better tell all these mad rabbit people about the hamster of Aachen. Let's get the balance right!

Regards, Val

Hmmmm... rabbits with attitude... probably only in Canada... and Australia... and...

Ha-ha. Not only does Canada have a wild rabbit population, we have a decidedly urban rabbit population. I see them everywhere in Calgary, hanging out on street corners, smoking and terrorizing cats. :)

Thanks Theo,  Does Canada have a wild rabbit population?
