Theme: Postcard sized graphic stories

Format: You can submit as many pieces as you like for the show, to be sent in the post, A5 or below in size if possible (that bit is pretty open to interpretation).

Deadline : 11th March

Presentation : All works will be displayed on the walls of Pimlico Library. If we get enough pieces, we'll make them into a book to go on the shelves of Pimlico library.

What do we get back? : No returns I'm afraid. Nice publicity though and you get a nice warm feeling in your belly

What's the point? : The libraries, like everything else in the UK are facing all sorts of cuts from the crazy government people. My local library has a great graphic novel section, but not enough people read them. By getting people into the library we hope to get people interested in graphic novels again, and taking out books again. Only with these numbers coming in can we hope to stave off the cuts and closures

Is A5 equivalent to 4 inches by 6 inches? or 5 inches by 7 inches. Can we mail it in an envelope?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Apparently A5 dimensions are definied as

210 x 148 mm or

8.3 x 5.8 in

But if you want my honest opinion, I don't really mind! If it is bigger than that, but it does the job then hit us with it!

And yes you may mail it in an envie
