For people who read and enjoy good literature--literary classics or literary contemporary and like to make art about it. Using literature as inspiration for our art. Also for people interested in writing letters about literature. This is also a meeting place for The New Arzamas Literary Circle, which is dedicated to writing creative letters on literary topics.

One of a set of cards made while contemplating the poet Theodore Roethke. On November 12, Roethke suffered the first of what was to be many mental episodes. Small detail they forget to mention on Wikipedia.
Major work of MT is «AFTER RUSSIA», poems in exile she wrote in France.
She could not live outside Russia, so she returned!
Sentenced to the Gulag, Ossip Mandelstam gave her his belt to close her suitcase. It was with this belt she hang herself in 1941.
One of my own paintings to illustrate David Stone’s Night Town refers to this «detail».
What you wrote is just beautiful, Guido; I love it. And your inspiration, from Amy, is beautiful as well.
