What is the story of that three-rabbit-eared creature with long nose and circle eyes?

Something to do with Ray Johnson and mail art, but what? Can someone please fill in us new kids? Thanks!

Yes, this is Ray Johnson's signature character. It doesn't have a meaning other than he created it as his signature. There's a documentary about his life called How to Draw a Bunny, should you want to learn more about his life.

Thank you, I'm watching it now!

Thank you for recommending this documentary, it helps us to know a little more about the artist.

Also, mail artist, Keith Bates, creates a variation on the theme,

for the Lunar New Year:

2022 Year of the Tiger/Cat:

2021 Year of the Ox/Bull:

2020 Year of the Rat/Mouse:

It is known as a Ray Bunny,

and the moderator here, Ruud Janssen once made a series,

with our names on them:

Keith Bates' Ray Reindeer or "Rayndeer" for the Holidays!

Thank you, I'm glad to know!
