Event Description

The Market Gallery is an independent start up - supported by a local registered UK charity.

We are a unincorporated association of independent artists offering studio spaces and exhibition opportunities our goals are:

Promoting Artist Visibility through exhibitions, events, and online platforms.
Connecting Art and Community and encourage their active participation in the arts.
Finding Creative Opportunities by making artists' work more visible to the public and potential funders.

I have brought this gallery to fruition and would love an opportunity to showcase a part of my artistic development - having started IUOMA at 16, I am now 30 years old. I have connected with so many brilliant artists and been inspired in new mediums, forms and categories of artistic expression.

I have a large industrial sized unit ready to fit and install artwork. All artwork submitted will be in promotion of IUOMA and it's community including all artists on display being recognised in plaques next to their work - including name, website, location, and any additional wording you would love to provide.
This exhibition is for the opening of the gallery and will run from July 2025 - July 2026

Photographs will be provided free to artists of the display and free to use long term for marketing so you have a international or regional exhibition for your portfolio.

Only final thought I did have following an enquiry earlier was the postal address: for safety I did consider getting them to my address: 22 Mariners Cottages, South Shields, NE332NG, UK

However all works will be on display in the gallery "The Market Gallery, 15 Market Place, South Shields, NE331JF" from receiving the works until July 2026.
We will be printing plaques for each artist submission - so we will require details feel free to send this to me once artwork is posted.
