Thank you for you kind words. Apart from glue not sticking! I really enjoyed doing this - My title may have been too cryptic - the spotty face is Steve Strange!

Received from Gina Ulgen

Click on the link: http://monosemikodachrome.blogspot.co.uk/2014/05/i-wish-i-could-pla...

to see Gina's fab pieces and then click on the pages to the right to see incoming work from: Susanne Tierney, M Metzger, Kimmer Guccione, Dórian Ribas Marinho, Daniel C Boyer, Silvi Soares Boyer, Amy Irwen!  Other peices are not clearly labeled so I may be putting them at the Postalledger or Maritime Mail Art!  I will be hanging the show on the 5th of June, so accepting work until then!  Many thanks to all who have sent pieces in! If I haven't replied to you yet, I will be soon.

Lots of new work on the MSK blog! Latest arrival was from Keith Chambers, although I am not entirely sure if he meant for it to be for The Postal Ledger or MSK.

http://monosemikodachrome.blogspot.co.uk

But like I keep saying, it doesn't really matter! I blogged Keith's postcard yesterday but it has been sitting on my computer table and each time I pick it up I notice more.

Like who knew stamp edges looked so different.  I know, a mail artist should know that, and I must know it sometimes,, but Keith's arrangement with the zig zag cut melon address paper, just so right. That stamp on the right is ziggy too!  Even the postal coding is perfect.  How did he do that?

Before I say something stupid, I need to declare.  I am terrible at matching names of famous people to their faces.  And I am also largely ignorant.  Those things don't sink in at all.  To me this says COLONIAL and I notice the repeptition of those stars and of course that a moustache is actually an upside down bushy pair of eyebrows! The target is a beautiful touch but also shocking when I think about it. The cardboard is beautiful in it's toothy simplicity.  thank you Keith!
