Event Description

Organised with Andytgeezer'sSchoolswaps project, this is the second year that the Kingston International Youth Arts Festival has led a big postcard swap for young people, and this years exhibition of postcards gathers together over 1500 postcards received from places as far flung as Tajikistan and South Africa to Poland and as close to home as the UK.

Zoe Thomas will be taking young people through a postcard making workshop on Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July, then after that all postcards received will go on the wall of Kingston's Market House Gallery, where they will stay for the rest of the festival until 22nd July, before all the postcards are sent on to new owners. Everyone who sent one will get one from someone else.
