Jumping Jack - International Mailart-call

TOPIC: Jumping Jack

Create a Jumping Jack

Instruction: Download the PDF (Jumping Jack sample and instructions) here: http://jumpingjackmailart.blogspot.com), the sample Jumping Jack can be printed, glued on solid cardboard, cut out and designed.
Or - even better - make an own Jumping Jack! Also postcards with the topic jumping jack may be sent. Please take care during the work on quality, stability and craft!

Rules: no jury, no fees, no return of the works, documentation to all.
Any irrelevant, insulting or potentially illegal content or works of strong erotic content are not welcome.
Please no emails, snail mail only.
Please indicate name, address, and email address on the back of the work.
You can send also a short biography or artist statement.

Size: Jumping Jack: max 25 cm
Postcard 10 x 15 cm,

Technique: Free, except for audio, video, or perishable material.

Number of works: max 2 works per artist (max. 2 jumping jacks and/or 2 postcards)

Deadline: 31.12.2014

Documentation: Your artwork will be exhibited online in the blog http://jumpingjackmailart.blogspot.com, printed documentation (poster or mini magazine) to all participants. An extensive catalogue or book is possible if sponsors are found for the project.

Exhibition: An exhibition of works in cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts in Lahr/Germany (http://www.kunstakademie-lahr.de) 2015 is being planned. Further exhibitions and cooperation partners are possible.
