Event Description

WB Yeats was born on June 13, 1865. His life and work is celebrated in Sligo Ireland every year on Yeats day. This June 13 marks the 149th anniversary of his birth. As part of the Yeats Day Festival 2014 we are hosting an exhibition of mail art, and we invite you to send a HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISTER YEATS postcard to be exhibited in Sligo. Submitted works will not be sold or returned. Any medium is acceptable, but submissions must be suitable for posting. If you would like to have your work exhibited during this festival, please send your postcard to
