This exhibition wishes to bring a profound homage to his memory.

We propose to the artists from the entire world who knew the indian artist Chiru Chakravarty or his art, to participate with works at the International Mail Art Exhibition „CHIRU - the painter of the human soul”.

Remarkable personality of the contemporary art, participating several times in the „Inter-Art” International Artcamp. He became honorary member of the „Inter-Art” Foundation and in 2001 a partnership has been signed with Design Bureau, the association led by Chiru. With his help two important international exhibitions were organized in Mumbai - India under the name of „Inter-Art” Aiud, Romania.

„Chiru was the painter of the human soul and mind. His personality and art suceeded to impose, conquered the audience and earned respect everywhere. Those who knew him remained with memories of his way of thinking and philosophy of the great artist.

Exhibited in 2000 next to great masters like Picasso, Dali or Chagall, Chiru marked permanently a page in contemporary art. His mediative style, his creations of a profound sensibility, his exclusive creativ process proved a character and gentility which will last forever.”

DETAILS OF PARTICIPATION AT THE MAIL ART EXHIBITION

Dimension: max. A4 (21 x 29,7cm | 8,26 x 11,69 inch)
Deadline: 15th of July 2012, 12.00 AM (arrival date of the works)

Each artist must complete the entry form that can be either downloaded from www.inter-art.ro or requested by email at info@inter-art.ro

The participants will receive the documentation of the exhibition. The works will be not returnable, they will enter into the „Inter-Art” Foundation's patrimony. A part from the works will be donated to Chiru Chakravarty's family.

Opening within the XVIIth Inter-Art International Artcamp, 10-26 August 2012, Aiud, Romania.Further we propose to present the exhibition also in Mumbai (India).
