A book of poems by the American poet Barrett Watten (born October 3, 1948) in Russian translation has been published in Moscow. He is the editor of “This” magazine, one of the main publications of the language movement, and co-editor of the “Poetry Journal”. In Russia, his book was published by the independent publishing house "Polyphemus", and compiled by Vladimir Feshchenko. I hope to get to the presentation of this book on Friday.

Hi Zack,

I'm glad that You personally communicate with great poets and act on this stageI can't say that I write poetry in the manner of a "Language School," but I'm interested in their concept. My poems are probably a little more traditional. Unfortunately, my texts have not been translated into French, but there are English translations, I will send them to You.

Ilya that is wild - i had no idea you were into "This", L=A=N=G=U=A=G=E etc! back in the day i was fairly active in the San Francisco poetry scene, having staged four works by Leslie Scalapino. naturally i crossed paths with Barrett and his wife Carla. it's so cool that you posted about this here; i hope you get to the presentation on Friday. to be continued...
