I noticed that 90% of my works have portrait orientation. I think my choice has to do with the elements, size and technique, but I'm not sure. I just know my works look good that way.

What is your favorite surface orientation, and why?

In general, I prefer portrait, too. But sometimes my collages end up landscape, depending on the forms of the scraps and other pieces of paper. Estimate: 75/25.

Portrait, for the most part, although I love the art journal two page spread. That may be my most favorite of all because I love the challenge of marrying the pages together.

I never worked much with two page spread. My journals are mostly single page. Not that I don't like it. It's just not my style.

Nice pages you have there, by the way.

Portrait is my favorite, but I do landscape sometimes.  I think it looks better when I'm trying to work with the less is more process.  When I work in landscape I tend to clutter the piece.
