which caused a stampede of refugees through river and fields to get to a border with FYROM and be

beaten away by FYROM border guards, etc. There were many cases of unofficial "helpers" who caused

more exploitation and suffering for the refugees. Now UNICEF has organized better arrangements,

and screens the credentials of "volunteers" to avoid such events.
