(Repitition no 23) of the fact that they keep putting up their postage rates, have had one of their assistant post mistresses elected to the local council, seem to have taken post bikes out of circulation, etc, does manage to deliver my post safely each and every day. Mercy Buckets, La Poste!

Miaou?
Like that? (I couldn't get the 'tail' to work)
To see the squiggles in their proper order, you have to look on the 'comments' for "My Mailbox is a Museum..." --L
Thanks for the geography and beach information. Our local beach Port-la-Nouvelle (translation = New Port, but we call it Port-la-Poubelle , which not only rhymes but means/= Garbage Bin Port) has a winter beach temper of about 50° (F) and, in he summer, 72°+ (F). I go there almost daily in the summer. There is one 'torist' beach, and one completely unspoiled, about 4 miles long, and if I get there in the middle of summer at 09.00 and stay until noon, I usuaully ahave half-a-mile of beach all to my own. One year, only there was lots of driftwood, and I took lots of photosand painted some pieces of driftwoo (that I , called 'Sea Monsters') that I later exhibited. Some of my 'Sea Monsters 'family ' are below. Perhaps you should buy Jadie a wetsuit -- or an air ticket to the South of France; id she promoseses not to eat the Sea Monsters or the cats she can stay here.
(I can't make any sense of all your squiggles, I'm afraid. or, to put that another way, éèèè'#ç^~ha!)
Ok, I just checked. It works here, but it doesn't work on my page or your page. The spacing gets all jumbled up. --Linda
I think it's better with whiskers and haunches. --Linda

Two Harbors has 1 deep harbor to the east called Agate Bay where the ore ships come in to pick up loads of iron ore that has been delivered by train from the Iron Range mines around us. The ore is carried east through the Great Lakes to steel mills. On the more northeastern edge of town is Burlington Bay which is used exclusively for small craft (at least as far as I know). We usually spend much of the summer on the beach there. The water is very cold, an average of 40 degrees Fahrenheit (about 4 Celsius). Surface water warms a little in summer, but it is still very cold. My kids swim in it. Our friends call them "hard core" because few people can stand it. My Jadie has stayed in for 1-2 hours at a time. Sounds impossible, but she's amazing. She swims when the tourists are walking the beach in jackets and hats. Sometimes strangers really give me a stern look, and once someone asked me if I didn't think she could get sick, or if I didn't think it was dangerous. I reassured them, but they didn't look reassured. We love the cold.
I think your high school academics are funny. --Linda
