Just found Postcrossing, an organization started in 2005 for people  trading postcards around the world in Jean Trals's IUOMA page which I looked at due to today being her birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Jean. There was a link there to the history of postcards and the postal system which includes a VERY LARGE collection of historical postal images perhaps of interest to some of us.
