Negotiable Notions of Mail Art from Non-Local Variable in Oregon (USA)

I had fun going through the cornucopia of stuff that Non-Local Variable sent in. Much of it meant to question "What is Art?"...

There was also a fascinating boekie/zine enclosed. It looked very serious and I thought it would contain a story or critique or manifesto... But the text was purposely muddled or jumbled or nonplussed—leaving a piece that was art for art's sake, or a boekie for boekie's sake, or a zine for zow-wee reactions!!

Elegantly disorienting and bemusing creations!
