IMAGINE PEACE and Shozo heads from Moreno in Italy

Back in 2009/2010 Moreno Marenin sent me a few of the first "Shozo" heads,

as an add 'n pass...(painted BLUE, of course :-)

so I added to them, and passed them on in the mail art network.

It began a series of "IMAGINE PEACE" ...that continues today, even after

Shozo Shimamoto's passing in 2013.

Just last month, I received three packets from Moreno, 

filled with some 16 "Shozo" add/pass pages! Many are "overloaded"

with paint and images , almost losing the "head" outline...all the more fascinating.

A few were returned to Moreno:

(and those are copies of "censored" stickers made by Rudd...all in good fun?)

A few pages were "original" sendings from Shozo, these I added to and sent to

Bruno Chiarlone in Italy, who has this mail art DADA project for Shozo:

(on the back I added a "shaven head" outline that has all but vanished on the 

painted side and made it SMILE :-)
