Encaustic is melted wax....and this one is melting from David :-)

Now it is a know fact that in August, both the State of New Mexico,USA,

and the country of Greece , are HOT! ...sweltering actually!

...and be careful: No Smoking, please!

So these lovely colors (nice BLUE) arrived more than melted and sticking to the envelope!

Could they be specks from candle making ingredients, or from crayola crayons????

Nice ORANGE..... and BLUE combo :-)

And there is a fun "octopus" there in the center (see that Viz!), oops, oh no,

it is a SQUID! keeping things "cool":

With David poetry on the flip side:

And on the envie was this friendly lady...remember  the AAAAlamo!  :-)

Oh, David!

Many thanks , you have us melting with laughter here! xxx

Thanks for that extensive blog, Katerina. Aunt Jenny would approve. This was one of the byproducts of an encaustic workshop we took and yes, those are grated crayons and a photo from my beloved collection of Library of Congress images.
