Gerda, thanks for the Amazing Criminal Profiling Kit! As you probably are aware, we "Mericans" are becoming ever more security conscious and we need to be able to tell who the "bad guys" are who are pouring over our borders. This kit will help. But, what if the criminal is a woman?

Hallo Gerda, thanks so much for your nice comment! I am happy that you like my style! I often mix machine stitch and hand made details to get an interesting structure and I am really thrilled to see your combination of photograph and stitching. And it is nice to meet someone who knows Göttingen. It is rather a little town but full of high-brow university and perhaps your cousin did work there? And I am proud that the card managed the strike!  Best wishes

Charlotte

Oh wow, Gerda, what a gorgeous envelope! I haven't had the heart to take it all apart yet but I will because I can see that inside is as beautiful as the outside! Hand-painted, stitched and Trekkie stamped. Very enigmatic and fascinating ATC inside, so much stitchery and texture! And of course I'm crazy about the hand-made paper and other ephemera. Thank you for the great mail art package!

Hi Gerda! Thanks for the Star Trek themed mail art.  From one geek to another I really enjoyed it.  When I saw your address on McTavish street I remember that my mom and her family lived on that street when she was little, either that or when my parents got married. Either way somebody in the family lived on that street.

Hi Gerda! No I don't have any Ft. McMurray people staying with me, then again my place isn't all that big. However with working at the public library here in Edmonton a number of people have come in to use computers and get information to help get started on their claims whether for EI or home insurance, assuming if they know their house is still standing or not.  Then again if the house is still standing there is probably some water damage.  Yes the mail art world is still quite interesting and fun.  I'm relatively new to it but so far it has been a lot of fun.
