You can't keep track of every single thing blogged at IUOMA?! Neither can I, but sure wish I could! Many thanks, Neil, the trashboekie is really wonderful. You'll hear from me soon. ...
No, no Mod Podge [I had to look that up and did recognize the label from my various forays into different art stores].
no sir, that is a blended acrylic varnish --- different varnish types to get something not glossy but not too satiny. Years of playing with the plastic goo [because I never cared for oils] has left me with a few recipes under my hat and a love for glazing layers of washes and varnishes. tmi?
I had a great message from you, Neil, thank you, and you will hear more from me soon. Til then: what does "wabi-sabi" mean? It's written in my notebook as something you said but I included no meaning! Duh.
Tashi delek, Neil-oh. Just saying hi, hoping life is good at this moment! Soon I will send you something, and it will be trashola, count on it. No need to rush back, take it easy.
Hi Neil! I'm glad it arrived safely and you like it. I love those little envelopes, so mysterious and small. I bought a whole bunch on etsy.com so I have plenty but thanks for your offer. They really challenge me to work in small designs. Take care!
Ah, there's more! Yes, those are two of my 6 bookshelves - I'm an avid (eclectic!) reader. Thanks for the compliment cher %_^
BTW, I grew up in Princeton (the Uni. town) - there was a beautiful, classically columned bldg. called Clio Hall where I often went to see films when I was a teenager. The most vivid memory I have is of seeing A Clockwork Orange there...that was a trip indeed!
Ha ha ha! Thanks for letting me know. Be well my friend!

Apparently, we both assumed the friendship and the IUOMA engine didn't register our preference via our heightened level of communication! I suppose it's a good thing the computer still can't read minds yet!
You are most welcome, Neil. Yah, from Old Orchard Beach. Amazing that the message survived about 11 years in the ocean, when the bottle was broken! That's what happens for certain spirits.

happy the book cover wasn't too shocking. Back from the USA now, very jet lagged.
