This morning as I was walking back from the vegetable market where I bought aubergine, tomatoes and haricot beans, I passed a crew checking the street lighting, one man was up the ladder whilst his two collegues leant against the wall nearby. 20 meters further along the street two Africans were standing in their shop doorway watching. As I passed I said “How many Italians does it take to change a lightbulb?” One of the Africans bent double at the waist laughing, I have never seen anyone laugh like that before.

I had a chick calender once the damn thing became obsolescent in barely more than a year.

Watch out for split tongue raptors, they may have ulterior motivations... whatever they might be. didn't eat a gelato yet too hot and i was busy brewing tea.  The gallery where the exhibition will be is right on the end of the rialto bridge street, opening on the 20 something, first meeting there today to discuss how the works should be hung.

Nice to be back... was talking to Iceland most of the morning, it's still there... not (yet) as hot as it is here.

it' ll be a great project...i am inviting the plexiglass connection and partner for lunch tomorrow, i'm preparing their fav italian dish..je, je.

the material is already in his workshop, as a reminder... as his sense of time is alien.
