MomKat, thank you for the great hand-stamped, hand-painted, hand-glued Greek Banana Mail Art! I was good and didn't open it until today! Also, the Minion on the envelope! Love!
Thanks for the Birthday greetings Katerina x It's been very quit with Mail-Art after my exhibition and my 3 months abroad - hope to pick up before X'mas - ARTfully, Chrystobal
MomKat and Keys.........I was looking through the markings on that set of keys in a photocopy from buZblurr, thought that they were maybe Zoran's keys and that he had locked himself out of the house - but was especially impressed when I noticed that one was marked 'VAULT'.....it is one thing to get locked out of the house and another thing to get locked out of your vault. Am curious to know what if anything BirdMan EverArts did with it in transition. Was hoping for something of aerial significance so the fish would get a temporary highflying overview of the plight of we earthbound. (Does BugPost still exist? I mean, in the case the fish go inland, they may need some earthy advice.) Now, how will I get this photo to Zoran Katarenoski - Facebook decided to recycle it to me to trick me into thinking they are my friend, when my friend actually is Ritva Saarikko, whom Zoran may recognise as his wife despite her obscuring speech bubble ("Quack" I interpret as her reply to Michael Morris' Marcels Dot and Ditto empty speech bubble done in the mid-1960's and to this day, half a century later, as the Problem of Nothing remains empty. (Question is, will this dot-heavy photo stay on the dot-wary IUoMA page?)
Also, talking fish, I notice in the freshly landed and off the hook mailing from Russell buZ blurt Butler had the fish by seamail envelope in the background of one shot, so, as I'd known, it had made it from you to Zoran Katarenovski in Neuvo Brunswick before continuing on to Arkansas (somehow missing Minnesota's 1,000 plus lakes........maybe meaning that the aliens have already arrived - Minnesota is an intergalactic landing strip, so the lakes (with their fish) have gone the way potholes go on landing strips.
Am curious: did Bird Man Everarts add or alter any points of alacrity that would get them fish off the ground and into the air? Anything? Like a fish wearing an airmail sticker?
O My Stars! Thank you so much for the Heleeni-Kow! What terrific company you place me in. I just love looking at these cows and seeing all the names. Richard C sent me a cow today on which he put my name FIVE TIMES. But I cherish yours every bit as much. And wow, the Yoko Alteration is fabulous! I love how the edge of Alice's dress is the corner of the FLUXUX sticker, beneath the BLUE moon! So many levels to this piece. Thank you!
am I guessing right that a boekie is a bookette? am trying to book some fresh fish for you to fry (or release if they are getting too sparse in the Aegean
