Vylene, undulating landscape and boekie pictures - from Cheryl Penn

Another great surprise in my mail box when I came back to Tokyo. Cheryl is sending me a large piece of violeen vylene (thank you Lesley), which has a texture that lies somewhere in-between paper and fabric, very interesting. I've already tested a small piece of it on something I have sent out, but the possibilities are endless I think. It can "sustain" stitches, and that's probably the next thing I will try.
Also in the package, pictures of our boekie, yeeey, looking extra-ordinary! :-)) And a prototype card for one of her new series. Who's the lucky one? I think it's me AGAIN! Thank you HS, you're making that old sweet pea very happy...

Actually, I can blame that one on Cheryl, she wrote it like that! Her spell chick is on vacation most of the time :-0

Oh, did I misspell again? :-) I searched "violeen" on google and all I found were pictures of violins :-))

Yes lucky you! Vylene (I think its spelt like this) is used in dressmaking for lining collars etc.
