Val was so kind enough to send me his credit card to buy art supplies.  Sadly when I got to the store the lady said that the balance on the credit card was zero.  I should have known better from looking at the card number.  So in the end, I give her the painted beer mat he sent me as payment.  She then called the manager ...

Yes, I might of known this, but then forgot.  So this was a nice reminder that Jackson Pollock was born on the same day as I was.  Luckly for me, he was born many many years before me, and even died before I was born. 

     I do remember the first time I had ever seen his work for real.  It was at Le centre pompidou in Paris, and I think it was called; Silver over Black, White, Yellow and Red.  Then again it could have been another one.
