Well, as a pro-immigrant progressive, I'd say that you are welcome to move here absolutely anytime! You might wait until after our presidential election, though.... While the foliage is awfully pretty, the election season is terribly ugly...

Oops...sorry to have mised this earlier!...But I'm glad that it arrived to you and inspired such a good song jam!

We have had company visiting for our "hills on fire" season... also known as the slowest driving season of the year... also known as leaf-peeper season.... also known as foliage season in Vermont...

Unlike the sock monkey, (and unlike several western states with "real" fires), our "hills on fire" don't create any smoke...just lots of beautiful fiery autumnal maple trees to gawk at.
