No, some places serve green beer. Though I think it doesn't really matter what colour it is! Some our rivers are coloured like the Liffey River. I am not sure what the fish think. Of course my local cafe has green cake though I have been a little slow to try it.

I once drank green beer in Ottawa on St Patrick's Day. It looked horrible. it didn't taste very nice either.

We drink heavily Diane, almost too much on St. Patrick's Day, but of course we have an excuse. I have yet to get a Shillelagh -  working on it. Yes, the weather normally is a disaster, that doesn't stop us though.

stunning isn't it Kat?  People get so into it in Chicago--south side Irish nothing like it.Well, except Ireland. It's kind of crappy weather this weekend, but it usually is on St. Pats. Taidgh kissed the blarney stone!!!But does he have a shelelegh (SP?)

I would so love to be there. I have some friends that take people on metaphysical tours of Ireland every year. They brought me some water from Brigid's Well.  Do you have St. Patrick's Day parades? Here in Chicago they have a big parade and dye the chicago River green. One year the then mayor showed up in a forest green fur. that did not go over well.  Do people drink heavily? (in general of course)
