I couldn't possibly be prepared when I received THREE packed envelopes in one day from Nancy Bell Scott. She is so compassionate that when I run out of trash--she sends me hers. There is a little bit of everything in this huge trash pile: cut up pieces of hard cover book, hand written notes galor, lock of hair!, studio scraps, food packaging, stamps, mail, receipts--too numerous to name. i am learning so much about Nancy and am so grateful that she is keeping me in garbage for weeks. She has even promised to send more when I am out. That might be by the real apocalypse of 2012 in which we will all be part of the rubble. Thanks Nancy:)

oh sorry Nancy, I was kind of being sarcastic. Not that I sent him anything disgusting--just household trash. Your trash is perfect.  Now DVS has raised the issue of when trash is too trashy :)  I think Bifidus is very meticulous and organized so I bet he recycled what I sent him.

Well it IS cheaper, isn't it, especially when the stamps never get canceled. :--)

Uh oh, what is "very clean" garbage? I hope mine was not unclean. The only thing that might have had a little residue was the pizza box. And the popcorn bag. Does Bifidus require only very clean garbage?

I think Nancy has concluded sending it to me is cheaper than getting a storage unit:)  And I'm good with that. They say what you give comes back to you times 10 (or is it 100?). This seems to be true as the windfall of Nancy trash has begun after I send Bifidus a box of very clean garbage of mine. Love it Lisa--I'll swap trash!!!

A little note of explanation lest people think my living room looks like this. (Now Diane's looks like this!) There is paper in boxes, bags, pockets, tins, baskets, drawers, books, stacks of antique ephemera, the recycling bin, and so on. Oh yah, and on the street (not mine till I pick it up). I love paper, can't throw the stuff out. Well some gets thrown out, but then I dig it up and send it to Diane.

That's truly amazing. How long has she been saving this trash? I save for recycling and don't have anywhere near that interesting trash!
