I found this cookbook: Mother McCready’s Starving Artist Meal Timer. Made famous by her much loved recipe,“Sixteen ways to Imagine a Stale Cracker is a Slice of Bread Covered in Your Favourite Condiment”, it is a volume that has stood the test of time. In going through the various suggestions I found one I had forgotten: Majickformium in a Box. What Luck! I have five proper boxes (bubble gum boxes are the best!). Sadly, when I went to my cupboard I found I was completely out of Majickformium. Well, I can’t let a perfectly delicious box go to waste so I am sending the five off in hopes the recipients have not run out like I have.

Yep, I know. I am a prince among men...

...memo: find some more Majickformium so I will be prepared the next time I have a bubble gum box.

ps. Mother McCready suggests for variation using a bubble gum box that still has the gum in it but I find it becomes too chewy at that point.

What happened to Father McCready and all the little McCreadys? Did they die of starvation?
