August 14, 2014 - Mail-art has had its share of fake religions, prophets, high priests and ranters. Some are parodies and some are sincere. You might consider The Blessed Father just another snake oil salesman or a preacher with a message; regardless, I have to admit he is a very fine stamp artist:

In fact, he has promised to send me the rubber stamp for this one (a close-up is in order) which I plan to use often:

I especially like this one, as the growing, militarized police state in the USA has me, as an artist, very concerned. More great stamps on the reverse:

Even mail-artists (Moan Lisa is a prime example) are encountering censorship issues on the internet. And another close-up even if just for the symmetry of it:
