Thanks to Mim Golub Scalin and Alicia Starr

Alicia did some fantastic graphite (or graphite-like) scribbling on her piece featuring Betty Friedan and Vanessa Place. Some other queens are featured also in the torn handwritings. Alicia's turn of mind--I love it.

A card from Mim is always a treat, and I'm still enjoying this one from December (365.2, no. 113). Her minimalist mail art is mind-clearing as well as appealing. On the other side she writes out a Picasso quote:  "Why do two colors, put one next to the other, sing? Can one explain this? No, just as one can never learn how to paint." Yes, much of it is inexplicable, which must be one reason why we keep doing it.

Thanks again, Alicia and Mim --
