SNAPPY: Who Doused Gargle & Snaps Including the big bonus +18 hit; Banana day

Starting with this amazing clear see though envelope, an incredible huge stamp of Harry Howell.  For those of you who don't follow ice hockey, (I except quite a few of you.)

Harry Howell who then played for the Canadian Maple Leaves was the first player to "come out" of the net. (An expression used only in ice hockey.)  He is also famous for his one and only quote; "A puck in hand is worth more than two in the net."

After that, the managers of the Canadian Maple Leaves asked him not to speak anymore to reporters.

But the best is yet to come.  Inside we find a brief history of Snappy's world.

OK, I'm no art expert, but what is the difference between the Trunk and the Boxer Brief ?     And yet another Ice Hockey giant.  Gargle Jones is a former professional hockey player and long-time star for the Canadian Snowflakes. He was born in Hamilton, Ontario.

A stalwart, stay at home defenceman, in 1967 Gargle was the last player in the pre-expansion era to win the Borris Trophy  and famously said that he was glad he won the trophy. And what you all have been really waiting for, here it is; The Banana Day Parade

Not quite on the straight and narrow, but ... I forgot what I was going to say here.

Thank you Snappy, and remember, a puck in the hand is worth two in the bush!  Or something like that.

Funny enough, I just saw the film last night.  A must if you have not seen it yet.
