I love this piece, Cheryl, what a wonderful surprise in my mailbox. Thank you very much!

Your stitching is terrific -- both neat and lyrical at the same time.  Love the "shaking her head to make her meaning clear" in the music directions. Like a play. Yes, Deduce! I can't not post envelopes, either; so many are great, and yours is certainly no exception:

We crossed, as I sent something off to you yesterday . . .

shaking her head to make her meaning clear, love it! Maybe from an opera score?

Hello again :-) - I am very happy to report that stamps are alive and well here - especially bright ones.  Nancy - you make me laugh :-))) - the spirit of enquiry - MAN! I wouldn't be me without it - if that means I'm nuts - thats o-so-fine :-) X

Yah, Theresa, those fish stamps, aren't they something? You look at a really magnificent stamp like that and can't help wondering why only 1 in about 34 U.S. stamps has any aesthetic appeal. How hard can it be? The country is full of artists just like everywhere else. Maybe too many conservative ones here?  Or it's the mysterious behind-the-scenes little creatures making the stamp decisions, that's it.

Hey Cheryl, you asked "What does that/this mean???"  It means you probably have a case of arrested development at a highly evolved and enlightened stage!

It's a way I half enjoy being driven nuts.  Ambiguity, ambivalence, probably a whole bunch of "a" words -- showing them in artwork -- puts me right at home.  Isn't it sad! :---)
