I must be on one of Bifidus' good lists, because he sends me three times a wonder. Three cards that arrived over two days, and that, when put together, reveal a majestic (if bloodcurdling) creature. Partly human, partly animal, he just beheaded a man. Bifidus used his signature maps, adding thick rivers of text to it. The back of the cards too is layered to perfection. Printed text, handwritten lines, messages in English, French, Japanese, the way we usually communicate :-)) Bifidus, this is such great work again. I don't think I have seen any of those puzzles from you elsewhere, I must be really lucky. Thank you!!

Methinks Cherry Blossom doth protest too much about the quality of her commentary.

Thanks you two. Your comments express exactly what I was feeling about this piece without being able to say it properly. I sometimes think that my commentary doesn't do justice to a particular piece. This is one of those.

Sweet Pea - this is a BEAUT! - Lucky you :-).  For all the fierceness of his roaring and the holder of anothers  head, nope, I don't think he looks dangerous - I think there IS someone in  the world painted like that  :-) X

I immediately recognize the Bifidus Jones style (or one of several distinctive Bifidus Jones styles). However, these seem to be an extraordinary achievement, perhaps a nascence it might be called? In other words, how can it get any better? The refinement is superb and an epic exploration of the history of body art too? Wonderful.
