ORANGE "Bird of Paradise" flower from Richard Baudet
This is a fantastic original watercolor painted envelope by Richard Baudet
Beatifully calligraphic, too!
His wonderful flower is officially know as "strelitzia regina", or the Crane Flower or Bird of Paradise.
It can be seen in many Greek island gardens, very tropical, and I found out that it is
the official flower of Los Angeles! Well, it is a beauty...as is this original painted envelope!
Inside was a lovely note from Richard, with this scribed on top:
