OMG Hubba Bubba Gnome from April Rocco Arrived Yesterday

Okay, this is AMAZING ART from April Rocco!  I can't thank her enough, I ADORE THIS!  

It's a Hubba Bubba bubble gum box, which she made an incredible mixed media Gnome blowing a bubble on the inside of.  She then folded over the flaps and stapled them down, put SUCH COOL rubber stamps and a "Hello" sticker / badge on it and a couple postage stamps, then popped it in the mail.

Amazingly, it arrived in perfect condition.  I carefully took out the staples and was met with this wonderfully executed, fun, joyous Gnome blowing a polkadotted bubble.  

This artist has brought me incredible joy, I LOVE THIS GNOME.  I LOVE that she made him on the inside of a bubble gum box AND tied the art to the theme of the bubble gum box itself.  I LOVE that she sent him through the mail like this so fearlessly.

WOW, April Rocco is AH-MAZ-ING, this is SO COOL that I had to blog it immediately.  I also had to put it on my wall immediately, I want to see this free spirited, bright spark of absolute mail art joy every day.  This is going to end up in a frame of it's own, first at home and then at work if I get permission to do that to the walls.
