Old People from Nadine Wendell

Received two wonderwonderwonderful pieces from Nadine Wendell. This old photo with a family who looks very earnest. I love to think about what was on their minds, what future was waiting for them? 

 

And a postcard with a picture from Grand Wood, I knew only his famous pair of farmers, this one, Woman with plant, was new to me and I like it very much. Nadine wrote that the card set for years at her bulletin board, you see the hole of the needles on top of the card - so now it'll stay on my board - for years?
