Today I post 4 pieces of maile art. One went out to Carmela Rizzuto, one to Mim, and two to artsy relatives who will appreciate the effort.
I spent some time yesterday cutting out post cards from cereal boxes. Today I will put backgrounds on as many as I can and create a few envelopes while I'm at it. In the past I have found that if I have some halfway completed I'm more likely to complete them and post them as well.

I so want this year to be a good mail art year. I won't commit to posting every day, however I can commit to creating something every day. It may not always be a piece to go out in the mail, but it might be creating a small collage, a piece in polymer clay, a loaf of artisan bread or a greeting card. There are so many ways to be creative and when I don't fulfill that urge I feel incomplete and at odds with myself.
I'm very much interested in artist's creative processes and rituals.
Anyone care to share?
