I have no intercountry stamps! Used them all and after a couple of shut in days, I slipped over to the post office and THEY were out of intercountry stamps. Grrrrr. We've had a harsh few days with snow and severe cold. We're not prepared for this. We don't have a lot of snow removal equipment, and personally, in order to stay warm we have to layer and layer and layer on the clothes. Then we tip over, ha ha ha. Anyway, I'm hoping that by Monday, I'll be able to get intercountry stamps. Meanwhile, making and addressing Mail Art. See you soonish. (note: since writing the post, I went through all my odds and ends of postage and was able to come up with enough stamps to make $1.15 usd for each of the intercountry pieces. Yay!)Okay, those of you in places where you get lots of snow and cold temperatures, don't laugh. It happens that I've become a weather wimp since moving away from Chicago and New York.

Last time, I tried to get the global-globe international stamps, but the p.o. only had the wreath. Angie, I have to admit I didn't think of them as hideous. I just think of them as circles! lol! Linda
I use many combinations of stamps for international mail. I do like the global forever stamp series, but there are only two issues a year, and one is for christmas, so I like to add variety. A lot of the time I use 3 forever stamps - I know this is a large overpayment, but sometimes I'm a bit OCD about how my envelopes look.
One of my favorite exact change combos is the Spicebush butterfly 66c with any forever stamp (49c).
Glad you are getting your mail out, and I'm surprised the post office didn't suggest some other combinations.
