New marketing plan for a small village called Petsmo, David Stafford

David sent me a dramatic poster with a personally planned marketing strategy for my village.

The poster is about 76x114 inches (30x45 cm) and was posted in a roll.

Among the quotes I love: "Let yourself float away in Petsmo" perhaps because Petsmo is an old fishing village and located at water and secondly, I have a strong sense of floating...

Thank you for this surprising location specific mail art, David!

Hey Diane, I do believe that you are the only one in this conversation who hasn't shown their artspace at "Show us" group! Come on let's see this 2x2 masterpiece creating area!!!! (You need a break from MOBA and DKult!!)

Indeed, amazing piece, Marie!  Thanks for all comments, guys :) Drawing tables, actually this is a wall, is the best art in my studio.. ha ha, no cappucino here, Diane but I guarantee knitted sweaters, for all!

I inherited my current drafting board from a woman I worked with. Her father was the famous calligrapher John Cataldo so it has some connection to greatness.

I thought that too David--it looks very painterly and romantic. I picture Carina sitting in front of it, a lovely view of Petsmo through the window, sipping cappucino--or glug-or whatever they drink in FineLand. My art space is a 2X2 spot at the end of the couch

I like the way the poster looks against the backdrop of your drawing table....Actually I just love the drawing table...Like Cheryl's desks, drawing tables are the backstage of our theater, an asemic rosetta stone, a history of spills and x-acto nicks filled with ink...

With Mount Breastesses, it does appear that Petsmo is for lovers. If the welcoming committee gave every visitor a Finnish Sweater I'm totally in!!!

"Käpertynut suuren rinnan varjossa" means something like "Curled up in the shade of a large breast"...  :)
