Nadine Wendell-Mojica is Puzzling me

Nadine sends the most wonderful characters on her envelopes - we KNOW people like them :-) 

The back of her envelope reads - I hate puzzles. Well, I'm puzzled I confess.

Inside was a beautiful boekie - It reads:

Dear Cheryl,

This is from an old 50's cube where hip people put pictures in and set it on a coffee table, or perhaps a curio cabinet.  Of course my favorite is the old guy on the lounger. What in the world is he doing in the sequence as the young lovers?  His body is fascinating to me - such odd proportions.  The young girl is certainly living the life with that furniture and her snacks....

And so the story winds on...

But I don't know the context of it???

HELP!!! Is that the puzzle?

No context.No puzzle. Just something I found years ago in a junk shop (see N.B.S or A.S.R for definition in USA). It was just so weird and 'psychedelic'. Sort of a poor man's version of  Crate and Barrell coffee table crap.I took it out of it's plastic cube. I'd say it's circa '64.

Fantastic-and a free pass out of celebrity blogland? better than a get out of jail free card in monopoly. Nadine's characters live in the alternative art reality and they are fabulous!
