MY EXHIBITION "ABORIGINAL ART" OPENED LAST SATURDAY.....

...at le Galerie du Chateau in Sigean, France.

In the Exhibition are 45 paintings, 9 boomerangs, Gordon le Gourd, and 20 Morning Star Poles. Aboriginal music was very kindly provided (via CDs) by Rose.

More than 60 people attended the opening of the Exhibition, including the Mayor and the Deputy Mayor -- both of whom made speeches (to which I had to reply).

There have been lots of visitors since, but -- sadly -- not one has taken up my suggestion to be body-painted à l'Aboriginé.

Here are photos of the Exhibition....

Thanks Rose. Yes the music sounds great -- the big, deep, bass, didgeridoo sounds seem to rumble through the whole gallery and create a very weird effect. I'm still looking for someone to practice my aboroginal body-painting on;;;

Could I politely remind people that this is supposed to be about my Exhibition.

All film critics and psuds are kindly invited to start their own blog somewhere else. And not here.

Thank you.

Merci, Gang!

Erni -- it will not surprise you (ha!) that I come from a family of famous artists. Peter Sellers and I are related. He is my 4th cousin once removed. The family policy is not usually to show films etc of any of our relatives.

There is a famous record (circa 1960) by my cousin Peter and Sophia Loren called 'Goodness Gracious me', in which Pete acts an Indian Doctor and Sophia as his Italian Patient. It is very funny.

Thank you for the suggestion about 'Crocodile Dundee' -- when I see Paul Hogan next, I'll ask him if he can lend me a copy of his film. Or his hat.
