Minneapolis Gnome is BACK!!!

OH I have missed the Gnome SO MUCH! Look at this beautiful cow, tastefully if ironically painted on a Micky D's hamburger wrapper! Look at her eyelashes!!!! I am in love with this cow. On the back of this wrapper, the Gnome has written "There's no room in my back yard for a cow." Well, there's room in my house for this one!

On a second hamburger wrapper (MG, you need to stay out of that place!) is a brilliant imprint of the very footprint of the Minneapolis Gnome HIMSELF! It's like the Shroud of Turin! It will be worth millions! A personal letter is typed on this piece, which I will not go into but if you're really curious you can blow up this photo and read it yourself. There's rather a lot of bemoaning the decline of alcohol in the Gnome's life, a sentiment with which I can completely sympathize.

And, finally, the bag (McDonald's, of course) envelope, a trademark of Mr. Gnome. With an official seal of "Green Bros.Inc." and the usual warning and disclaimer about the contents of the envelope. Thanks Gnome! I'm so happy you're back!

Mail art is good therapy and the process of making these increased my joy quotient. We've got to get our silly on. Of course, your sharing them with such enthusiasm didn't hurt my joy quotient a single bit, either. You're nice.

Don't worry, these Mc-Evil-D's wrappers are "old stock" which I have hoarded from my consumption and that of friends. The last time I resorted to McD's for food fuel was over a month ago to get me through an 11 hour long drive. I removed the buns and only ate the the meat and cheese. 8 months of good dietary behavior and I'm currently down a total of 33 lbs. It feels strange to me as a grown man to now be wearing size Medium shirts, but I guess that's what happens.
