An excellent "altered" version of Maurice Utrillo's Street in Sannois.  The folks of Sannois woke up one Sunday morning to find this huge crate in the street.

They called me on Monday morning to ask if I would be interest in coming to Sannois to take the crate away and make Mail Art with it.

Sure I said, so I picked it up, sent most of it to Suus in Mokum for a Banana project, and a leftover piece will be going out to Mim.  Problem solved.

Thank you Mim, I really love this series.  Utrillo did so many streets that they all would be perfect for you.

I actually had to look up Sannois. It's a village north of Paris. Utrillo went there for cures & detoxification treatment. Sannois has the only museum in the world dedicated exclusively to Maurice Utrillo. In 1997, they all chipped together to buy one of his painting. It's a start!

Actually, I think that would be a great idea.  Who knows, they could have a section of altered art.

Perhaps I should send them one of the last altered Streets of Sannois. What do you think? I like that you're helping out the residents with the box. I look forward to received my whatever.
