Hello Carla.

Forgive my bad English.
I try to write in English.

I sent for the call of Modesto Museum.
but the almost always, my delay and I do not know if it will be accepted.
I have also heard that some artists send mailart museums forever
The question is what museums do.

Here in Brazil, the collections of some institutions go through difficult and often disappear for lack of maintenance and care are needed for this type of work.

The mailart here is growing more and more.
More people are taking knowledge about art. And some institutions that before faking ignored, begin to return his eyes.

In Brazil, in the case of mailart, there are several files for the artists and also some institutions which house material.
Among them, the Centro Cultural de São Paulo and the Museu de Arte Contemporânea de São Paulo, has a collection.
Also notable that some researchers in recent years has shown interest in
conservation and archiving of the work produced by mailartists the decades of 70, 80 and 90.
There have been some publications and some people stand out for a serious job of search.
Here in IUOMA, a Brazilian, the Fabiane Pianowski , which has an excellent article published on mailart.

This is great, Alexandre! Was it a call or did you just send it on your own? I have heard that some mail artists send art to museums all the time but I've never done it except for during a mail art call. I think it's a great idea.
