Received this altered postcard with what looks to be a handpainted mail truck. The paint is matte and I hope Sandra will tell me how she has made this. A psychedelic mail truck  with hypnotic wheels--doesn't get better than that-thanks Sandra!

I made the background in Adobe Illustrator. The truck is a linocut printed with oil-based relief ink. Originally I was going to print directly on the card with the printed background. Then I realized the truck would get lost because the white space in the truck windows would show that burst pattern... I didn't think that one through too well. So I printed on white paper and then cut and glued stuff... I'm glad like it. I'm a little sad the laser printed paper got so scuffy. :(
