I honestly believe that Lynn is on to a new art movement here. It's memorizing. I even tried putting it in my microwave to watch it turn around. "Far Out", as we use to say. But kids, don't try this at home. I'm a trained professional, and the first one on our block to have a microwave in the 70's.
This Banana piece came right in time for interNational Banana apprecation day on the 18th of November. The Banana group celebrates it every year with a Mail Art Call for Banana art.
Thank you Lynn
PS and while I'm on it, can I show everyone again your Master piece?
Yes, and it's mine, all mine.

It's going to be a long day. For a start, my guess that every man who works at ThePalace Inn is going to be beat up today.
Then there is that Banana Insurance claim to fill out. Never a dull moment in Western Pennsylvania. On the bright side, only 4 more days until it's Bike nite again. I hope you can hold on until then !
Thanks for the fun reply.
PS Funny enough I just purchased a turntable for my father-in-law for x-mas. It only has only two speeds, but can transfer records to a USB key in MP3 format. Sadly I no longer have my Dark Side of the Moon LP. Actually the CD is better.
So glad the Psychedelic Banana Mandala arrived to join its long lost friend!
I never thought about putting it in the microwave to watch it spin, but it occurred to me prior to mailing that I might stab a hole in it's center and throw it on the turntable... (YES! I STILL own one of those and it goes all three speeds... 78, 33 and 45!) but I resisted the temptation because I know I shouldn't play with the toys of others without first asking permission. :D
The Banana Art has been arriving in my mail box... but alas, I have had no real time to get down to the business of even saying, "THANK YOU!" let alone begin to blog the pieces. Yours is among them and I was DELIGHTED beyond measure! It made me smile, reminded me of other like posts and I almost burnt supper when my hubby handed it to me! I laughed so hard, I think I injured myself! (Not that I hold you responsible for the injury... I assure you no Banana Insurance claim will be filed!) I promise to take time soon to do justice to the gem and THANK YOU! ever so much for taking the time to bring the Psychedelic Banana Mandala to the public eye where it can be appreciated by one and all!
Before I go, (having already spent more time here than life allows just now) I must share with you, the experience of my yesterday morning... ANNA BANANA! The One and Only! Visited my blog (trashbubblesandlifeslittlebits) and commented on the Banana Hat post I wrote, featuring David Stafford as Admiral Bumeister, sporting said Banana Hat. She was stopping in to thank me for the International Banana Day mail I'd sent her. She was quite complimentary and shared a bit of her humble mail art journey! I am not easily star struck and I have received a few returns from Anna, including the most recent Banana Rag, but the sharing... that got me! I was honored that she'd taken the time... If you'd like to read her comment yourself, use this link: http://trashbubblesandlifeslittlebits.wordpress.com/2014/08/01/bana...
In closing, THANKS AGAIN! Your mail, Banana or no, makes life in Western Pennsylvania a little brighter with each piece that lands in my mailbox! :D
