I received several mail art pieces either postmarked or celebrating "Leap Day" in 2016—that is, February 29th, which only comes around once every four years...

From MomKat in Greece, a hand-drawn, collaged, hand-stamped reminder that time sails away...

From Dean, a multi-national stamp collection to remind me that Leap Day is a world-wide event...

And from Sally Wassink, who had the amazing memory recall that I had a family relative with a Leap Day birthday! Sally thought a once-every-four-years-birthday was worth TWO Leap Day postcards!!

Thanks to all three mail artists! We better get crackin'…there are only 1,436 days left to make some mail art for NEXT Leap Year's Day!

Happy it arrived and was cancelled on February 29.  Too bad not all the stamps made it.

thanks for blogging.
